About the Author:

As I've eluded to, I love crafts. Crafting has been a favorite ever since I can remember.

And writing... almost as equally as long. Somewhere in those upper elementary years, I fell in love with this specific craft. And it stayed.

But when I went to college, I chose practical and found a second love in the medical field of nursing. College papers and assignments left enough room for writing and creativity.

However, when I entered the workforce, I quickly realized my creative outlet was missing. My dream of being an author resurfaced.

Now, I'm blessed to be a Midwest stay-at-home mom to three wonderful children and a dog. I get to spend my time making crafts with them. Plus, I love making them special presents that involve relying on my crafting skills.

Every summer, I enjoy organizing and creating crafts to share with 150 VBS (Vacation Bible School) students. I also draw upon my creativity by volunteering with the 4-H and Clover Kids programs, another favorite adventure from childhood.

And, by staying at home, I get to... WRITE!

I'm grateful for the ability to pursue my writing career and practice my favorite craft of all. Someday soon, I'll be sharing my writing with smiling faces of kids everywhere.
